Got Milk? (GC2B91M)

At Geowoodstock VIII my mom bought each of the boys their own cache container so we had to place a few new caches in the area.  This one is pretty neat it's a large plastic Oreo cookie.  We hide it near our house to replace a cache that was recently archived in the area.

The Amazing Spider-Man (GC2878B)

This cache was a lot of fun.  It was a lot of work but fun.  In order to get to the cache you have cross Fennel Creek which is about 18" to 20" deep.  Then you have to cross a muddy field with grass at least waist high.  To top it all off you have to bush whack your way through about 15' of nettles.

You should have seen me carrying a latter on my back while walking out to hide this cache.  I don't want to give too much way but lets just say the cache is at least 15 feet off the ground.

It's not Venom (GC29P3M)

So far this is my favorite hide.  It was published at 9:17pm and by 9:30 I started getting emails saying everyone was out looking and no one could find it :-)  After a few dozen emails and this picture emailed to me of everyone looking around I decided to headed up to the cache location to laugh at everyone.  It took them a little while but eventually they found the cache.

from here to there, from then to now. (GC29NTY)

This is my first hide in Seattle.  I decided to make it a puzzle cache, it's an easy puzzle but for me first puzzle cache it's not bad.  The name of the cache is because above the cache there is a sign that says "from here to there, from then to now." plus at least with my GPSr I tend to walk from here to there and it typically takes me a while to get things to settle down enough for me to make the find.

Ethan's Batman Birthday Cache (GC283ZH)

I told my son Ethan in honor of his 5th birthday, I would hide my 5th geocache. Since my boys love large caches I had to come up with a spot big enough to fit their favorite type of cache.  There is a new nature trail in Bonney Lake. The city just opened this area to the community on Arbor Day.  Here is a pretty cool slideshow of people cleaning up the area before the opening. (Link)

Madrona Park (GC286ZA)

Everyone in the area knows about Allan Yorke Park it's a wonderful place to go especially on a hot summer day. However, Bonney Lake actually has 8 parks and I wanted to bring people to some of the other lesser known parks.

Madrona Park is a 'pocket park' at the corner of 80th St and 182nd Ave. This park is so small there is no room for parking.  Most would assume it's just a play area added next to a house but it's actual city park.  Amenities include a half-court basketball court, play toys, a small picnic area with water fountain, and a view of Mt. Rainier.

Oliver's Superman Birthday Cache (GC283ZG)

I told my son Oliver in honor of his 3rd birthday, I would hide my 3rd geocache. Cedarview Park (GC2878Q)

My kids love to play at Cedarview Park they call it the "Chew-Chew Train" park because of the plays toys that form a train.

Cedarview Park is a kid friendly neighborhood park. Available uses include: barbeques, covered picnic area, playground, fields, tricycle path, full basketball court, drinking fountains, playing field, and decorative art.

Fennel Creek - Revisited (GC27B62)

This is the first geocache I have hidden.  Since Fennel Creek was my first find. I figured it was only fitting to make Fennel Creek- Revisited my first hide as a tribute to the original.  I really wanted to do a fun complex cache but in the end I figured I should just start with a simple kid friendly cache just to get my feet wet.  This cache is like 500 feet from my house so I will be able to keep an eye on it.
