"Find Me" (GC2C01C)

So this cache was published at 1:47pm.  While on the train home from Seattle I looked and no one had logged an FTF yet.  So I figured I would go check it out and maybe just maybe I could get my first FTF.  Well I get to the cache at 4:10pm and look at the log Team ReeBo beat me to the cache by 15 minutes.  So I got another second to find.  Not bad, but I'm still looking for an FTF.

Mr Misty Crusade (GC25W3J)

This was just a quick park and grab after filling up with Gas for the drive home.

Moses Lake Aviary (GC29K2W)

This was a cool little find.  It's a fake bird house that opens up and the cache is inside, the boys got some fun stickers and toys.  It was also right on the lake so we got to see a few ducks playing in the water.

Cache formerly known as Moses Lake Micro Multi (GC1JDVK)

This was another cache that was on someone front porch.  I usually skip these unless the cache owner is home, I just don't like walking on to someone front porch without them being there, I always worry about the neighbors thinking I am stealing something.

I turned around to pull out when the neighbor came and flagged me down.  He asked if we were Geocaching and I told him we were.  He said go head and go up to find it, the cache owner is an elderly man who was away but he really enjoyed having cachers stop by.  So knowing the neighbors weren't going to call the cops on me or anything I figured we would go head and find the cache.

Every other town has one (at least)! (GC139P8)

Just a quick park in grab.  It's was a glass jar which was a little surprising that doesn't make the best cache container.  The glass was cracked so someone duck taped it up.

Chubby Girl #10 Rocking all night (GC1N542)

This was another fun find.  The boys weren't too happy because while it was a good sized cache it was empty instead.

Chubby girl cache #1 (GC18BQX)

Finally, a large cache full of swag for the boys to trade.  They sure do love large caches.  Oliver went into the tumble weed and pulled the cache out.

This was just a quick park in grab but it had a cool Charlie Brown drawn on it.

Laconia (GCJPFX)

So Today I decided to take the boys on a little road trip.  The original plan was to drive out to Pullman and take the boys to WSU but as always it took the boys a little longer then expected to get ready and out the door.  Instead we just decide to drive until we got tried then head home.

This cache is at the top of Snoqualmie Pass, so far it's my highest elevation find.  It's a quick find during the summer but would be under snow in the winter.

The boys were having fun and putting the cache and race car on their heads.

Them's Good Eatin' (GC17QMZ)

After dinner Oliver and I went out to find a quick cache.  It was a nice little walk with some cows along the trail. Oliver loved seeing the cows.  One even mowed at him, Oliver just laughed.  The cache was easy enough to find but the weeds were pretty talk so it took me a few minutes to fight my way back to the cache container.

Seahawks Rock (GC11EF6)

I solved this puzzle yesterday at lunch but couldn't find the cache because there was a muggle sitting on the rock where the cache was hidden.  Today at a little before 6am there wasn't anyone around, it only took me a few minutes to find the cache.

Danny's cache (GC2BFA8)

I took the boys out for a quick find after dinner tonight.  They only like larger caches with toys and this was a smaller one so I was glad it had a few things in it for the boys.

Time for a Cool Change (GC10MWX)

I decided to take a little walk along the river and see if there were any caches along a trail I saw last night while on our way to dinner.  It's a great walking trail and I knew there had to be a few caches along it somewhere.  It didn't take long before I had this in my hands.

Welcome to Gladstone (GC1H6Q3)

I woke up early, Julie and the boys were still sleeping so I went across the street from the hotel and got a cup of coffee.  I figured while I was out I might as well do a little exploring and maybe find a few caches.  This one was only a few blocks from the hotel so I walked up there and made a quick find.

Un-Original Stash (GC92)

This cache is only a couple feet from the tribute plaque.  It was placed here Makaio and now maintained by ponyryder I have to say thanks to both of them for creating and maintaining this cache over the years.  Ethan found this cache without a GPS and with nothing more then me just saying their was a nearby ammo can.  I was trying to look it up on my iPhone but I didn't have very good cell service so I was turning on my GPS when he found it.

The bugs were attacking us in the muggy weather so we just signed the log and the boys traded some toys and we got out of there.

Original Stash Tribute Plaque © (GCGV0P)

So we finally made it to the original stash tribute plaque.  I have wanted to visit this cache since I first heard about it about a year ago.  I have been close 2 other times while driving through Portland but didn't have a chance to make the trip out here.

This weekend Julie and I decided to take the kids to the Portland Zoo and while we were down there I would be able to go find this cache.

So the boys had their last soccer game on Saturday and then we headed down.  Once we got checked into our hotel we headed out.  Luckily, the hotel Julie booked was only 15 miles from the cache.  We made a quick find for the plaque and then found the nearby cache.
