Lost & Found Celebration (GC24GYW)

I'm glad I got to go to the Lost & Found Celebration the logbook was pretty cool.  It's on Plywood so they can hang it up after the event.  Or do something with it :-)

Geowoodstock VIII (GC1QM7K)

It's finally here.  I first heard about this event about 2 weeks after I started caching so I have been waiting a while to attend my first Mega Event.  My Mom, Dad, the boys and I all headed out to Remlinger Farms in Carnation, WA.  There were about 5,000 people who showed up to the event.  It was massive, and we had so much fun.

While at the event we saw Paul Bunyan's Ammo Can it has to be the world's largest ammo can.  It's so big you can walk through it.  The boys had fun playing inside.

10 Years! - East Pierce, WA: Valley to Plateau (GC25EW6)

My first Geocaching event and a 10 year Geocaching anniversary event to boot.  I have to say thanks to FugeFinders, Tom and Lynette you are the best thanks for hosting the event.  The event was dinner at Aversano's in Sumner.  If you have never been it's a great restaurant.

Julie, the boys, and I all came down for dinner and to meet some fellow Geocacher.  We had a lot of fun, it was nice to meet everyone.

I got to see the FugeFinders again 3 times in a little over a week, I think they are following me :-)

The boys found CaptCosmic's kids and I was finally introduced Julie to John and his family.  John after dinner the boys have been asking to go caching with you and the kids we have to plan something.

I met Crystlcryptr, or should I say she found me.  I found her debit card at my geocache and I was happy to return it.  I'm glad I found it instead of some of the kids in our neighborhood.  She was nice enough to give me a cool Mt Rainer Geocoin for returning her debit card.

I also met WindingPath and was surprised to learn they had read my blog.  I didn't think anyone read this blog except maybe family.

Unfortunately, I was called by work in the middle of dinner and I had to leave early in order to come home and take care of some issues.  All and all it was a great time and I'm looking forward to the next event.
