Tiki's Revenge (GC25Z1N)

Well number 200.  It took me almost a full year to finally reach this milestone, I know 200 doesn't seem like a lot but with 2 small kids it's a little difficult to find more then 3 or 4 in a day.  While I have found a few at work in Seattle my boys (at least one of them) have come with me on at least 95% of the geocaches I have found in the last year.  I'm also glad my Dad got to come along with the boys and I for this trip.

We started by heading out for In a Fixx on the Trail for number 199 before finding this one but I wasn't really paying attention so we walked right past the first waypoint by about a 1/4 mile.  We then had to back track and find the first waypoint.

WP #1:  My Dad made the find while I was on the phone with my Mom giving her directions to meet up with us.    By the time we found the first waypoint the boys were done so we walked back to the car and Mom took the boys to Dairy Queen while Dad and I went to find the remaining waypoints and the final cache.

WP #2:  Now that we didn't have the boys Dad and I were able to make good time to the second waypoint.  I actually found a letterbox hide while looking.  This was the first time running into a letterbox if I didn't know I was looking for the second waypoint in a multi-cache I very well could have signed this thinking it was the cache.  While I was looking at letterbox hides Dad found the second waypoint as well.

WP#3 (Final):  This one was a little farther off the trail then the first 2 waypoints which wasn't good news for me since I was waring shorts and there were lots of nettles in the area.  It wasn't too bad I just had to walk a little slower and watch my step.  My GPSr was bouncing around a little too much so we had to check a few hiding spots before I was able to make the find.  As the summer goes on this one is going to become very difficult as the Nettles were just getting started but they look like they are going to over run the area.  I'm glad to make the find now.

I have to thank the FugFinders for a great hide.  The Tiki's were very cool I was impressed with the details for each one.

Also, for those keeping score because I know my Dad is he did find the first 2 waypoints but I found the final which is all that really counts :-)
