Cooper's Crib? (GC16YA1)

A few years ago there was a article in New York Magazine published an articled title Unmasking D.B. Cooper where they make the case that Kenneth Christiansen is the infamous D.B. Cooper.

Left: An FBI sketch of "D.B. Cooper." Right: Kenneth Christiansen.
 You be the judge....

This cache is in tribute to D.B Cooper and his ties to Bonney Lake.

The boys and I made quick work of the cache. It was a rock wall cache meaning the geocache is hidden somewhere in a 20 foot long rock wall. I really don't like rock wall cache but this one wasn't too bad.

Della's 8-25 B-Day (GC15EK9)

The boys wanted to go geocaching after nap time today. If going geocaching is what it takes to have them take a good nap then it sounds like a win - win to me.

For our first cache we headed just up the street from our house. The cache was fairly easy to find Oliver had fun grabbing the cache container. Inside we found 2 parachute guys.

time will wait for no one (GC1Y38X)

Julie needed to go look for a dress for my work Christmas party, so we headed to the mall. The boys weren't too happy to be sitting at the mall. So I told them if they were good we would find a nearby geocache.

We stopped at Famous Dave's for lunch and while waiting for our food I found this cache. So after lunch we went looking. Julie stayed in the car because it was cold and she is still in the boot.

It didn't take us long to find it but there was a large plastic spider on the top of the cache container so Ethan wouldn't go near it. There wasn't much in the cache and it was windy and freezing cold so we didn't stay long.

LMWCM-2000 (GC1RWZF)

Well since the first cache today was so easy we decided to find another. Micro's are always a little more difficult with the boys. They just don't care since there aren't any toys to find.

We weren't have much luck finding the cache and we were leaving when I decided to take one more quick look. I had already put the boys in the car when I found it. So I took it to the car and took some pictures with the boys.

Jacob's Junk (GC214M5)

The boys were being good this morning and it wasn't raining so they were itching to go find a cache. Recently, I saw this geocache on the website it seemed easy and good for the boys to find.

It is a nice little park near my house. I didn't take us long to find the cache container and the boys found a cool wooden airplane and a slinky. I left the Tibby's Warm Suncatcher Geocoin.

MFC09 (skystone Ascension) (GC1ZQX5)

The boys have been sick lately combined with the weather changing means we haven't be caching much. But today was nice so I took them out. This is a fairly new cache and I haven't had a chance to go after it yet.

The cache was fairly easy to find but it was a nice walk along a great path. I dropped off a travel bug Black Mirrored Lure and picked up the Tibby's Warm Suncatcher Geocoin.
